  1. DCAHD.com. Box 5 doesn’t have an app that you can get from roku. I’m going to have to run it through my laptop to the big screen. Like the old days with fan network. $14 for Peckville.
  2. I don’t think any brassline I was in had quotas for females. I doubt that would ever happen.
  3. He was truly great. I have no idea where he ended up but I’ll wager he’s doing something special in music.
  4. The young man that played the solo in 1979 was Rich Moss. Excellent trombone player. Was a student of a member of the CSO. He played that solo so well on a 2v baritone that you almost thought he was playing a trombone. It was honor to march with him in 1978.
  5. He played that great solo in Tiger of San Pedro, too. ( A nod to my Guardsmen BITD.)
  6. Speaking of that, I read that Bill Watrous has passed. He played that fantastic trombone solo.
  7. The ‘72 and ‘73 version had a crap load of middle voices rips. The ending alone. Lol
  8. A nightmare of an instrument. A device of torture.
  9. Oh God that thing. I had that thing in junior high marching band. We had mellophones in high school marching band.
  10. Cool. Pm me. We’re going to be staying downtown.
  11. I can say it now. The ballad was like a black hole with great bookends.
  12. Yeah that was it. DCI Midwest 1977. No soup for you.
  13. Hasn’t changed in decades. You can be really rolling along, thinking yeah we got this...you get slapped down in one of those regionals....(insert sad trombone here)
  14. It’s periscope I know but I thought Boston looked and sounded great. That drumline is relentless.
  15. I have to wait until 7/15. Enjoy it. It goes by very quickly.
