A lot of this dissent within the Scouts started in 2002. There have been so many changes in 16 years.

Ok now I vaguely remember Land of the Lost. But I was a teenager in the ‘70’s so this show probably wasn’t in my wheelhouse.

Five years later, everyone carried them.

Not as close as the Michigan City DQ. It’s staggering to think of how many tasty ice cream treats have been served to drum corps kids from that store over several generations.

That was my first show as a member in 1972..

Oh we’ve all tackled a cow pasture at one point during our drum corps careers.

Especially when they drag it out for years.

Around here, the road construction guys start work at 10am, three guys stand around watching one guy work...for like an hour, then it’s lunchtime, before you know it, it’s 3pm and time to head for the bar. It’s the Chicago way!

I’m going to watch it on BFDTV so I can launch it up to the big screen with the sound bar.

I was pretty happy when I saw those uniforms Scouts wore last year. It meant my kid didn’t wear the ugliest Scouts uni ever.

I didn’t think you were. I just wanted to give Bruno some props for being a calming influence. Jim commented on that several times to me the years he volunteered for the corps. My kid I helped didn’t return either for 2017.

I will say that when the former director was back in dodge off tour and Bruno was in charge, things ran very well. Stress level low, carrot crew wasn’t deluged with constant schedule changes... Bruno is a very nice man who cared about everyone on tour... members first and foremost, staff, volunteers, drivers..

I think because one show will be in Akron in ET and in California in PT, you might be able to catch most of both shows. It will be a long night, though.
