They’re gonna bring back traditional uni’s at Indy and slay! And when asked about it will say… “We were warming up for this all season”. Which would explain the current warmups uni. They sound FANTASTIC!

As a new BOD member of SOA… and a fan of the corps since I was 15 years old ( I’m 60 in a month), I’ve got some dust in my eyes right now. These kids have worked super hard… like they all do. It’s just so good to be BACK. And I’m going to do everything in my wheelhouse to maximize Atlanta support for these kids and staff…

Well since you stated you were glad to see them back in the top 6 “again” in 2019, as if they hadn’t lived there or above for years prior… I think I’ve proven to myself how much you actually follow the Cavaliers.

They were in the top 5 in 2019. And the top 6 as you referenced in 2018. And the top 4 in 2017. And the top 5 in 2016. Again?

Perc staff was the only caption staff left after 2022. Brand new brass staff, etc. Let’s see how the year runs out.

Glad to see 4th tenor back. Glad not to see microphones hanging out of 20-30 bells. Ending still needs a lot of cleaning and polishing. Keep pushing men!

The 5.1 sound is going in and out. When I switch back to TV speaker audio is there. Then I flip back to 5.1, and it’s there… for a minute or two… anyone else?

Crown had 24 mic’ed players at the only live show I’ve seen this year (Lisle). Phantom had at least 16.

I don’t normally do uniform critique… but Cadets look like a high school basketball team warming up for a game.

I’m betting a straight leg diamond cutter is getting them some grief on the sheets. I miss it too… but I’m betting there is a competitive reason it’s gone…

It’s good to see a Drum Corps show again. I’m gonna leave it at that.

I was there too! I volunteered that whole California leg in 2019. And yes...the "left coast" ate up the Cavaliers that whole run through California.

My son’s first year as a Cavaliers DM was the 2019 season. He MIGHT be able to tell you their numerical score at Finals. What he can DEFINITELY tell you about that season is… * Opening the Season in California * Conducting Wayne Bergeron with the Cavs in a street concert in Los Angeles * Meeting Eric Whitacre at the same concert. * The Free Day at Santa Monica Pier * Cavaliers and SCV combining hornlines and playing an Encore of both corps songs * Conducting a concert at Yamaha HQ * Seeing his grandmother after her first ever drum corps show in San Bernardino * Waking up to an unannounced detour to Niagara Falls, and the whole corps singing “Rainbow” at the Falls with a pronounced rainbow hanging over the water. * Standing on a podium in LOS on Saturday night of DCI Finals running 5th * Not caring they were running 5th Scores are necessary, I suppose… but you’d be surprised how many MM’s refuse to let scores rob their joy.

I’ve been asking about this too. If they had an 83 with those problems, I kinda hope it’s true. 😎

11 days off Flo in a 7 week season has been strange indeed. As a parent of a FMM I don’t remember this happening before this year.
