on Nov. 28th SDCA celebrated it's 13 year. However, there is nothing to report for the 2020 season. As you may know, SDCA works with communities as they celebrate in community festivals. SDCA provides the music entertainment. In 2020 as each month went by SDCA waited for each community to verify their celebration activity. There was no music participation for SDCA so SDCA is looking forward to 2021 to participate again in community celebrations. Check us out at thesdca.org

10 years ago today SDCA (small drum corps association inc.) became incorporated. After a year and a half of detailing the business plan our very first show was sponsored by the Northernaires in Menominee Michigan. The very first corps to perform was the Blue Saints from Ontario Canada making SDCA instantly an international organization. Since then SDCA has had over 60 groups performing in 5 regions. It has not been all growth. We have had struggles but the outlook is bright. We can always use more help and ideas to do even better and go to more places and have more group get involved. Our good friend Ken Norman has had a massive stroke. He is in the Milwaukee Wi hospital and not doing well. Ken is a man who has touched all of our hearts and has helped us all with his talents. He may very well hold the record for number of corps in which he participated or influenced. He and his family can use our prayers.
