There's alot of truth to that. From experience, we (Dev's) went from being the "darlings of drum corps" in '75-'76 to the receivers of ALOT of scrutiny during my final years with the corps ('77- '80) Personally, I took it as a compliment, and also used it for motivation, as most of the organization did. I like to call it the "Yankees Syndrome". :P

When the 2006 season is complete, you can go to the DCP Sponsorboard for the 2007 season. It has been a great help to our members.

Although I'm a huge SCV fan, keep in mind that a program doesn't have to blow your face off to be competitve. BK has a very nice "Modern Drum Corps" program this season, and IMO, they are quite worthy of their score up to this point. "Dark" is good today. :)

From someone who competed against them from 1975-1980, Phantom has always been a crowd favorite, and even moreso '77-'80 when they made the jump into the thick of things.

The thing that kept my interest in this particular review was the fact you kept it constructive, and diplomatic. Taking the "low road" speaks volumes. Nice review.

Let me direct those interested to this thread regarding Suspensions/Bans.

I'm sorry you feel that way, Stu.......but that statement is your opinion, and doesn't reflect the parameters regarding why a member receives, or doesn't receive a suspension/ban.

I'm only going to say this regarding Nikk's suspension.........he is well aware why he was suspended. Just like anyone else, he received via email the Suspension Notification, and replied to it.
