I very much understand it and have been involved a long time.

Honestly, the subjectivity is so frustrating this may be my last time caring about scores after marching, volunteering and now supporting/donating. How can scores/ placement especially content change so dramatically night to night. Answer: they can’t except by judges who are not consistent and not fair and are definitely biased, baring dramatic changes or failures. I’m not talking Devils, no one cares about their scores, they are amazing and untouchable. I need to focus on something less fake but still enjoyable and rewarding.

Nah judges are not that fair. It’s all slotted this weekend, even though last weekend it was completely different

Yet they are consistently in second for brass so I guess it’s ok

It’s not that. Same thing last year. They don’t blast their speakers like many others. They are much quieter and they were different brand last season

Those percussion scores would be unexpected.

Hot take: the talent at the top 4 corps is very similar and you can’t tell the difference. It’s just the design and writing that the judges and fans prefer. So the awards and medals actually are for the staff 🏆😎

First BD show I’ve really liked since Ghostlight and they are Incredible….again. Zzzzz But I do wish next year they’d come out with spoon slides and white cubes and not be in the top5 😜

It’s tough to rank crown, Bloo and BAC. Crown ahead in brass, BAC ahead in drums and guard and the judges always love the GE and music analysis of Bloo. I think it’s still very close.

I enjoy crown much more than Bloo this season BUT that doesn’t mean anything for scores and it doesn’t reflect the immense talent both corps have! It’s just personal taste. I enjoy BAC and Mandarins even more so we each have our own taste.

Idk. It could easily medal or be 4th. That’s what makes this season so great

A few weeks ago their brass wasn’t hitting all things and they were behind BD and BAC. After tonight I don’t see how they don’t win brass this wknd. Guard was perfect in the first half. Second half they weren’t as exposed but still good. Darn multi cam really hurt second half for me 🤣 it’s been a few years since I really liked a crown show but this show is grrrrreat!

I’m a guard snob and crown hasn’t been that good since 2017. They are on fire right now with tons of difficulty and great moves on weapon! They should be right there in the conversation with BAC and Bd.

Yes seeing with and without the tarp, it’s better with!

This isn’t a draw though tonight was based only on performance during regionals.

Love the percussion judge getting down one a knee to watch the drums as close as possible.
