Does anyone have an Excalibur sabre that they can help me with? I need know the length and width of the back strap please.

I mean the ones used in marching bands. I'm wanting to use the Backstrap of one to repair an old army sabre from the 1800s.

Hi, I'm new to this community. I'm an antique sword restorer and seller and I recently acquired a sabre that was missing it's backstrap. I noticed that the Excalibur sabre hilt parts were sold seperately, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them? Specifically, I'd like to know the length of the grip, and the measurement of the heel?
