We stayed at a school in Indy too, but we were squished into the community center on the end of it because the school was back in session. Also, the school was an elementary school that did not afford us the luxury of a field to rehearse on. At least the elementary school in Michigan City earlier in the week had space for us to paint a field.

Bingo isn't really the big opportunity people think it is anymore. If you have a bingo operation already you're in a good place, but in Southern California breaking into bingo is near impossible due to the popularity of the casinos. Most local bingo operations in SoCal have shut down, including church and other community locations, simply because the casinos are able to offer more to their customers in a space. Why go to the local bingo hall, when you can go to the casino for meals, drinks, bingo, and some slots before and after....
