  1. http://www.fliggo.com/video/ALvrdtoi?channel=chrysb Amazing!
  2. I turn 21 in March. Do I age out this summer or next?
  3. http://www.myspace.com/dragonforce Click on "Through the Fire and Flames" in the music player. b**bs Mello runs galore...
  4. Nobody's telling them they can't march where they want to. They still have to make the cut no matter what. Just like how it is now... except you have to be better. :P Edit: Also just to clarify. This rule would be limited to new members only. Corps veterans would be exempt to the 25 limit (so technically if you have 50 19 year olds returning, you could have 75 20+ year olds the following year)
  5. Just an idea that's been floating in my head for a while... - Limit the number of corps members age 20-22 for each corps. - Let's say... 25 per corps The idea is that more talented members would be spread out among more corps. Of course this rule has it's share of problems. What happens to 19 year olds who are veterans of the corps, but that get beaten out by 25 20-22 year olds? Maybe limit the "25" to new members? I dunno... just brainstorming here.
  6. Hey Mr. Cadet 00-01, Here's an example of a real winner: LaDanian Tomlinson. He was drafted into the NFL by the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers were the absolute worst team in the NFL for the first few years of his career. But being the great player and even greater PERSON that he is, he stayed with the Chargers, stating that he wanted to be there when things got better, to lead them to the top. Now look, 7 years from his rookie season, the Chargers are arguably the #1 team in the NFL, a powerhouse, and LaDanian Tomlinson is the reigning MVP. That, my friend, is an example of a true winner. Something you are not.
  7. Does anyone know if they're attempting a come back for 08?
  8. Actually, this type of field is in the works by some company (I forgot the name). The "grass" is just like the new "field turf" that's been popular lately. Except each blade of "grass" is filled with some sort of fiber optic stuff. Get a computer, plug in some cables. Bam. You have a grass field that's also a big screen TV.
  9. So what do you mean by "San Diego, CA has the Kingsmen Star Corps..."?
  10. San Diego, CA. The talent in the Poway Unified School District alone could support a Div. 1 drum corps. Give me 5-10 years. ;)
  11. The topic explains it all. I'll start off. Mt. Carmel High School 2006 Music from: Santa Clara Vanguard 1999 (opener, ballad) and Star of Indiana 1993 (closer) Great music, and great drill. Here's a comment from someone who I think posts on DCP as well: <edited for violation of DCP's media policy> MS
  12. "West corps" Hmm... "East bias"? ... I remember seeing Esperanza's championship show back in 2003. I also saw The Academy last year. They could have made finals.
