I believe Mandarins are on that launching pad to the level of top 4. NOBODY....including me expected their rise and sophistication in 2023. I still get that feeling from these post they are not taking seriously.

I’m not a big fan of comparing scores from decade to decade. Rules change, corps change and scoring systems change. 10 years from now who knows what things will be. Maybe drones will be part of the a show.

I’m assuming this is two rear agreement. DCA is pretty much on life support. Let’s try this. 20 years ago DCA was full of corps. Not it’s a trickle.

I don't think SCV announces anything anymore. The last official news release was Aug. 4th. They were supposed to have a board meeting on the 28th and it sounds like it never happened.

It’s not about giving up but transparency. I many scv alumni and they have no idea whats going. All they get is letters for money.

I'll just say this and it's my opinion...if the SCV organization does not say anything past Labor Day weekend I don't see them coming back in 2024...unless it's a small corp. Auditions are already set for many world class corps and I've seen nothing on their website for any auditions. Yes...this is the time to form a program for 2024 starting with auditions.

I always thought if a corp tried to do a Game of Thrones type show PR would be good at that.

They changed their logo on Facebook. 2024 is the Year of the Dragon. Their new logo mentions 2024 with a Dragon. That would be a very cool program and they are the perfect corp to do a theme like that.

We all like to reminisce about the old days of g-bugles sound. And we should. Brass sounds without mic's is pure drumcorp sound. But it's not today sound.

Who cares about a 3peat. Now it's the 4-peat. And BD is in a position to do that. As much as some on here don't want to admit...BD will be the favorite in 2024. You beat BD...you are the new champs.

I love it how some on here are telling BD the how do a show. That's like giving advice to Meryl Streep on how to act.

BC have done the same show design the last 5 years with one exception...change the look. So there....

That "in your face" style of drumcorp is over. It's all about "production". You look at the top 4 and these guys had a very different style.
