OC has their own whistleblower submission available online. Reports were submitted online anonymously and just a few hours later, after a show, the director told the media team to stop recording and he announced that people used the online whistleblower form and proceeded to berate all the members for not coming directly to him. Needless to say members were even more scared to rasie any concerns about anything after that incident. Suffice it to say, alot of future music educators in the group learned lessons of what not to do as a music educator. Apologies for going down this rabbit hole on this thread!

Marketing manager must have written the OC Member Handbook as well because they didn't follow their own guidelines on a few things.

I can also confirm that OC's handling of whistleblower reports was a huge sad joke.

Confirmed from staff who resigned that all remaining educational staff at OC has resigned in solidarity over issues reported. Members also know and most won't be returning.
