Horns were made by Dick Akright and Doc Severisen, modeled after an old New York Bach of Doc’s, amazing horn I wouldn’t give mine up for anything. Came in 2 models the 54 was a medium large bore 0.459 and the 59 large bore 0.464. Zig did not build the Bel Canto but he did have something to do with the later Destinos. Bel Canto is a great horn and it could be customized, different slide rings a saddles pinky hook or ring, silver plate, lacquer or like mine, gold plate fully had engraved. You you got one hold on to it, I read all the time about guys who let one get away.
