  1. Just going to throw this out there, and call me a hater if you must, but if BD wins again this year - ESPECIALLY if its by multiple points - I'm probably going to take some time away from the activity. Its so boring if the same person wins each year, whether or not its because they are the "best". I understand how the scoring works and I'm not saying someone who is "worse" should win for the sake of it, but honestly, with a judgement based system, without points being scored, etc. Its simply boring and potentially rigged. And quite honestly it's aggravating to watch. I doubt the activity will miss me, but ill be over it as I have better things to do with my time these days than hope another corps finally gets a better judgement than BD. my two pents. Have a nice day.

And oh my lord that brass line…so much different than last year…of course, this book helps ALOT

I have loved the bluecoats since 2012 when I saw their show unmasqued for the first time. Feels like forever ago at this point. Its such a different product over these last few years, but also feels very bluecoats - classy, elegant, groovy, fun, poised. Ill be seeing them in texas at some point again after this kickoff, can't wait to see how the show grows. Wow I can't wait to talk to everyone. Its giving me 2014 vibes all over again!

  3. I just caught some of this show on youtube tonight and all I can say is WOW. I really have come to love SOA these last few years and was really sad to hear they were not going to be fielding a show last year after their positive upward trajectory. The music is really great and wow that mello line! I think their ballad will shine come the end of the season and if they can button some things up it will be a great show no matter where it lands. So happy to see them back!

Phantom being Phantom is very satisfying to see.  But Blue Stars tripping on the absinthe is the corps who will be pushing to break top 5.  It's a sledgehammer vs a moog.  The moog is going so many more places.

Love phantoms show, but stars have a lot more room to grow with this vehicle. As much as I want Phantom to be back up there, I think stars show tops them this year. Both super enjoyable shows.

I’m gonna go check out some rehearsal tomorrow but wow.  What a show on all levels.  Every little thing is just essence of Bluecoats and Beatles perfectly married into a seamless package.  It’s incredible.   I don’t care if they keep up the streak or not, this is a SHOW in all regards.  Love it.

I’m headed over there in about 15, any idea if rehearsal is still open to public?
