Ever since I marched Music City in 2018, it sometimes feels like I am a recovering drug addict trying to chase the same high I got from the drugs I used to do. I understand the nature of the activity and how unique and circumstantial an environment like drum corps is, but I still wonder what I kind of lifestyle I can live to feel as good physically and mentally I did that summer. Better yet, is there way other than ideal healthy living conditions to feel that good, that happy?
