Being a marching band and drum corps student in FL meant hearing a lot about recent(ish) Florida drum corps like Teal Sound and the like, but I know there was many corps that have come and gone in Florida, pre- and post-DCI's creation. I was wondering if anyone here is an alumni of any now-inactive Florida corps and/or has any knowledge about them? I've been wanting to engage with the Florida drum corps community and understand its history better, and wondering if there's a Facebook group or archival website I'm missing out on.

Heat Wave is an open class corps and the only DCI organization in Florida!
