I agree. Part of the reason I started the Org. Rankings and State Champions, to give people something to talk about. Even if your not in the hunt for a finalist spot you may be gearing up for a state championship. The more "side bar" stuff (Knights Sword) out there, the more interesting it is. For my own enjoyment, I keep all kinds of stats on a spread sheet that date back to season 1. I've seen the league grow along with 3 other season 1 directors that are still around, and although my love for the off season is waining (we've got to do something). I love this thing we call fantasy corps.

I was just thinking (scary thought) With 6 Vanguards in Open Class they could have a simulary award call the "Vanguard Award". It would have to be plaque of some sort, not as nice as a sword though.

See if you guys had split it, this Wed. would be a reunification bout of sorts, winner take all. BUT as it is stands.........I have it!!!

Gimme, Gimme, Gimme The 1st attempt of the season to aquire The Sword was successful by the Velour Knights. The kids were thinking that they would never see it all season, so an air of calm has washed over the entire org. Retension will be tough, but at least we've avoided the shutout season.

I think one of the 1st things that needs to happen is to set up your 501c. But you have to look at it as a journey. The idea that's in your head won't happen for a few years down the road. Lots of up front work.

I can live with this. One set of sheets, one criteria, everey corps for its' self.

For the Class A set there is still a huge wild card in Jersey Surf. Where they land once they come back to the game is anyone's guess.

And here are the updates OK I have a question and would like some feedback. In case of ties I've always used the World Class ranking as the tie breaker, but this weeks rankings got me to thinking. Would it be better if the tie was broken by the lowest ranking corps between the 6 corps, and if we still had a tie then go to the world rankings? Case in point Elite Youth Arts Asso. would have the tie breaker under the current way of doing things even though Hydrargyrum Music Org. would, in theory, have a title but loose the Org. of the Year race. Had another thought.... in the final rankings Class Champions get a "0" point value so HMO would win the title anyway. But there may be other ties where a title isn't involved, so I still would like to know what you guys think.

It's 10:30, do you know where your point increase is? I know noon is not a time set in stone, but I have a life....well work to do...need to check this off my "to do" list.

No don't change anything else. I was just making a point. I would believe with the point increse that most directors will make their changes tomorrow. Thus your change will only effect the few directors who will skip it. Now if it were the last point increase that would be different, but it's not.

Which really dooesn't matter for anyone making a change tomorrow. They will still have to wait until the 30th to make another one. So the question is do you skip this one to be one of the 1st to make the next one.??????????

Jeff are these corps directed by the same person? If so I'll include them in the Org. rankings.

For those who aren't sure which corps they are competing with for state titles, here is the current list. If you corps doesn not have a home state listed, please let me know. There has to be a minimum of 2 corps in that class to have a championship race. So we have lot of loners out there with a lot of unconfirmed corps, so I hope we get some more pairings.
