I find it odd that for Open Class Championships, DCI opted for the two Music Analysis judges but only 2 GE judges. Why not the full 11-person panel that World Class gets?

I bet the director's meeting was to discuss doing DM only retreat.

Well that not only is our Open Class champ, but that should win by a considerable margin...I'd say at least by 1 1/2 points.

They felt too large for their purpose. They should have either shrunk them down or had fewer of them.

Strong performance. Will it be enough to fend off Legends? We'll see. I have a feeling it wasn't.

Gold so far is giving up too much musically to maintain their slim lead over Legends. Intonation and timing issues in the brass make them juuuuuuuust a little less polished than Legends.

I always thought that would make good source music too. Not sure why it would be difficult. Seems like it would be the same license-holder as Cabaret and Chicago. All of Aurora's songs would be a lot of fun--probably a good drum solo or feature in there.

I have an Apple TV 4 and the Flo app usually works. There have been a couple issues this season with it, but otherwise it's fine.

I think that's to maximize the amount of the field they can fit within frame since the box isn't too high up.

Makes me wonder if maybe the rain got into their mixer and destroyed it the way Mandarins' got destroyed in Allentown.

Kudos to them for pushing through. They're already in finals so it's not like they had anything to lose by taking the penalty and trying to get the electronics worked out.

Ugh, not an uplifting way to start a finals performance. Although I imagine the staff are more stressed out than the members right now. :(

Those aren’t divergent minds: GE1 is essentially GE Visual and GE2 is essentially GE Music.

That brass build underneath the vocalist for some reason reminds me so much of Crossmen from the 90's (in a good way).
