  1. You wouldn't pay $12.50. You would pay for the whole year. It would average out to $12.50 a month, which seems like the better deal. If you just want it for finals, pay the $49 and cancel after a month. That's what I'm doing.
  2. No. From flomarching's website: PRELIMSBeginning through #16 corps will be streamed on FloMarching#15 corps - #1 corps will be streamed in theaters through Fathom EventsSEMI FINALSAll performances will be streamed on FloMarchingFINALSAll performances will be streamed on FloMarching
  3. So, I recently subscribed to FloMarching. Just wondering, are we likely to see high-quality video editing like we are used to in the cinema and dvd recordings? The video direction thus far has been questionable. It'd be great if it were the same team (Tom Blair & Co.?) Any thoughts or insights about what to expect?
  4. Looking for some great seats. Know anyone needing to sell a pair?
  5. Can anyone out their give a rundown on where corps are staying in the Madison area for Drums on Parade?
  6. Where's the picture? Is there a link that I missed? I looked on the BD forum and don't see it there either.
  7. In case some of you haven't seen the Backfield Time Lapse of The Marine Drum & Bugle Corps, the entire Top 12 and the Retreat, here's a link: http://www.dci.org/media/theater.cfm?bctid=192875669[/url] It's under two minutes long and is super cool...
  8. http://www.vicfirth.com/artists/hannum.html Scroll down to Clip 4 in the Audio Interview and listen Thom Hannum talk about 1987 and the 'perfect' drum score.
  9. In 1993, the Cadets played "On a Hymnsong of Philip Bliss" by David Holsinger which was a piece written for Symphonic Band and is very popular among high schools. Obviously, Holsinger is referring in the piece to the Hymn writer Philip Bliss and "It Is Well With My Soul". Personally, I never made the connection myself until now. I have heard this hymn in Church many times. Now I realize who Philip Bliss is... :)
