Been going to DCI Finals for MANY years (maybe too many). This Phantom show is maybe the only one that I think could move up a placement EACH of the 3 nights. Question is...where will they be ranked going into Thursday?

I don't know....word on the street is they already tried it with a tuba trio earlier this week. 🙂

So I read a few comments that this was not BD's best run...I'm watching and asking how much over 88 do they get? Amazing drum corps AGAIN!

Really enjoyed Mandarins...very strong brass. I can hear some Bloo influences there. I do have to ask...will we see a member(s) strapped to the prop and it does the rapid spin? Maybe a tuba 🙂

Just saw a post on this...Bands from 13 (THIRTEEN) nations will gather in Buckhannon, West Virginia, July 17-23 for the 2023 WAMSB World Championships for Marching Show Bands. How many nations will be represented at the Drum Corps INTERNATIONAL World Championships? Just made me wonder...is it time for a name change? Of course it's really been like that for a while.

Some additional Mason trivia...Mason has the largest enrollment of any school in Ohio. This contest is actually run by the Fairfield High School band, but has been held at Hamilton and/or Mason high school for the past few years because their stadiums are a good bit larger.

I think Bloo comes out on top tonight...but there may be some judges who say "thou shalt not"...at least not yet.
