What if you got hurt and came home mid-way through tour? Did you march that year?? I marched with one corps in 2001-02, then in 2003 was at a different corps until July when I had to come home. Now I'm back at my original corps and I'm not sure if I can say that I actually marched in the second corps......

I haven't aged-out yet, but as I was walking out of the stadium from my High School graduation I slipped my heels off figuring that I was ending a big segment of my life then too.... my dad made me pick them up; but I tried!! ~C

I know 88 SCV had gorgeous dresses.... so it had to be pre-88.

What colorguard started the tradition of wearing show-themed costumes instead of "variations of corps proper" uniforms? ~C PS - and if anyone knows why and how it was initially received - that'd be interesting too.

French Horn is just ...hmm... how to put this nicely... anti-all-element-of-fun-and-personal-enjoyment. Yes, it's my principal too...Connie (my horn) I still love you, you're still beautiful I just don't like you sometimes.... Trombone too is weird 'til you get used to the whole moving your arm thing. The rest aren't too partivularly hard to learn, though MASTERING anything isn't easy.

I like playing ballads. I just do. Knowing that, what corps would be best for me?? Any thoughts or suggestions?? Thanks!
