What a great year for you guys! Sit back now and reflect upon your accomplishments and look forward to your second year in Div. I. At your pace... well lets not speculate already. Make final don't make finals... who cares. YOU MADE HISTORY!!! that is way more important! Have fun now. I hear there is a beach over there??? ya know... that is when sand and water come together!! In AZ, you just got sand. Anyway, as a fan I sure appreciate all you guys have done for an activity that could always use another strong organization to join the ranks. I wish you well. oh yeah... HONK!!!!!!!!!

Let this tread die..... Academy doesn't deserve to hear this... We shouldn't acknowledge this.... I do respect his or her opinion.... But, remember what your mommy said: "If'n you ain't got somethin' nice to say....." On another side, I am much more disappointed that DCP is turning into the new and improved, RAMD! I think the guys and girls at DCP have worked too hard to hake this as un-RAMD as possible.... what is happening. Let us all try to support, and be nice. All opinions should be respected that is a certainty... but must we always share that which is only for the purpose of stirring the pot??? I have enjoyed DCP, heck I read it everyday like the newspaper. Please help us all by not turning into the National Inquirer (sp?) We have so many knowledgable people like Mr. Turner and the others that give valuable insight, reviews and other positive reading. Why can't this be about that? I for one haven't been on RAMD for years... DCP was a safe haven from the BULL... now it drifts into DCP. DCP People, I am not about restricting freedom of speech. I am much more in support of good taste. DCP has been a class act for so long. Please help those of us who enjoy the good information, positive reading, great info and articles and the cool tools the site offers. Please help those of us that look to DCP for informative and great entertainment. Sorry to spout, I just am disappointed with the mud slinging. FOR THE RECORD, IF THE ACADEMY, BD, THE CADETS OR WHOMEVER FOR FARVORITE CORPS MIGHT BE, ONLY TOURS FOR 2 HOURS A SEASON, I AM GONNA LIKE'M either way! I appreciate any effort a corps makes to educate the kid, provide an activity... and if we can watch it and clap... IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM ASSUMING I AM ABOUT TO BE FLAMED TO HECK OVER THIS.... SORRY IN ADVANCE. I respect your opinions, and if I don't agree :) … I promise to be nicer to you ... that you have been to Academy and their kids when it happens. Again, sorry everybody. Hate to start something.... but, maybe more corps should do a limited tour. whats wrong with saving money?? I bet if Cadet, BD and the others had a choice to stay home practice and save money .. hmmm... I wonder what they would pic??? do you really think, as much as I do respect the judging enviroment, that guys like Wayne Dowey, Gino, Tom Augnst and the others don't really know what fix?? ( lttle voice says... "bet they do!") the way I see it... AT 3$ PLUS PER GALLON.... seems to me that Academy and the others are onto something. Seems silly to me the the BD and the other CA crops should have to go all the way across country and back... seems like makes the most send to meet in the middle from time to time... save everyone $$$$$$ then... might see more corps??? I am sure that I am not seeing the whole picture.... but maybe the whole picture needs to change? I think Academy is cool... and I appreciate them.

MY only thought is... Congrats Bluecoats!!!!!!!!! You have come a long way baby!!!!!!!!!! MIke M and the staff there are all wonderful people, no movie stars there, just cool people... great teachers... and fantastic role models. Seems like a winning combination to me! Hope they continue to have a great season and have time and the energy to enjoy the journey. The other groups are great too... lets just take a minute and let the Bluecoats enjoy their moment. The have earned it!

As I read these posts and certainly respect those with the opinions they have.... The message I wish were the most clear to Academy, their staff and their kids is this: Thank you for all your hard work. I don't care if you make finals or only tour one day a season. If you have earned it (and you have)... you deserve it! I for one, believe that you are setting a new model for the activity. Your organization has succeeded where so many other, despite their valiant efforts, have fallen short. I hope I speak for many others when I say thank you, I look forward to seeing you and most of all I applaud your work! Anything else... well there just isn't anything else. You deserve to feel good about where you are as an organization and what you are doing for an activity that needs the type of energy, creativity and professional direction your presence offers. Have fun, play well and max out! Thank you!

It is wonderful to hear good things from the Sunriser Camp!!! Change is hard. It requires courage and persitance to take root. Sounds like things are happening!!! Now, play Sunrunner, get Visconti back in the snare line and then the GODS will shine upon you!!! Seriously, it is sure nice to hear about the progress! Thanks.

It is wonderful that Larry Kerchner is in!!!!!!! He is such a masterful composer/arranger and musician. So many of his works changed the complexion of the activity! As a fan and someone who has known, worked with and enjoyed his work, I couldn't imagine a better choice. Larry Kerchner, your time has come to take a bow for a lifetime of achievement! Kathy and I are very happy for you. The community has finally opened their eyes! YOU HAVE DESRVED THIS FOR YEARS AND MOST CERTAINLY HAVE A SPOT IN THE HISTORY THAT YOU HELPED CREATE! I know Nick very well. I am sure that no matter what color the uniform, his blood is still gonna bleed Orange with a bit of Blue... So, as these posts mature or in some cases, the other direction, please remember that Nick is, has always been and will always be a "Sunriser!!!" I am sure that he like many of us, has so much affection for Sun that all the posts on the internet couldn't come close to tell'n the story. So, this should be about all the great things that the Old Sun has done, the New Sun will do and most of all... Since this is a Fusion Corps posting... IT SHOULD BE ABOUT FUSION!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK FUSION!!!!!!! I am sure I speak for many when I say, kick butt your first season!! We can't wait to see you add a few new pages to the drum corps history books!!!
