Hi everyone!

Small update. We've just added the ability for users to submit scores for historical events. Our current scores database only goes back to 2013. With the help of the community, we'd like to have the most complete, accurate, and accessible drum corps scores database on the Internet. We will review each submission and if found to be accurate, the scores will be posted on our site. If you have the time, we'd love for everyone to submit scores from 2012 and earlier to help us fill out our database. Thanks!

Hi everyone!
We're excited to announce that DrumScorps is back, although not exactly how you remember it 😀 Today we are officially launching our new website, www.drumscorps.com
Our new website will provide the drum corps community with the latest scores, news, rankings, and more. We've designed the website with three basic principles in mind:
- Clean, consistent, easy to navigate UI
- Performance/responsiveness - pages should load quickly and look great on any size screen
- Useful/engaging content - news, scores, recaps, rankings, and more
The site we're launching with today is just the foundation for exciting things we have planned leading up and into the 2024 drum corps season. Some features we have on the roadmap are:
- Historical score submission - Our current score database only dates back to 2013. In the future, we will add the ability for users to submit scores for older events and after a moderation process, these scores will be available on the site. Our ultimate goal is to make available scores for every event in DCI's history.
- Score prediction contests - Once the 2024 season starts, we plan to run a season long score prediction contest. Users can login each day to submit their predictions for that night's contests. Points will be awarded based on the accuracy of predictions and we will have a leaderboard to track who has the most points.
- Advanced stats - We are planning to add some useful/fun ways to view our score data. One of these will be charts to track one or more corps scores over time. Another will be corps comparisons where users can, for example, see if Corps A has ever beaten Corps B in percussion.
As always, we value feedback from the community. We'd love to hear what you think of our new site and hope that everyone enjoys using it as much as we have enjoyed building it.

Yes, this is pretty much it. DrumScorps has always been a hobby project and we just had some other things taking up most of our time this year, leaving little time to devote to the app.

The app takes a non-trivial amount of work to maintain every season and unfortunately we just didn’t have the bandwidth this year to do it.

Hi all,
Unfortunately, the DrumScorps app will not be available/functional for the 2022 drum corps season. It takes a bit of work every season to get the app up-to-date and unfortunately, we just don't have the time this year to make the necessary updates to the app. Not the news we wanted to deliver but we hope to be back for future seasons.

Hi everyone,
A quick update on DrumScorps. Due to the limited nature of the 2021 season, we are temporarily removing the app from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. For those that currently have the app installed on their phones, the app should continue to work if you'd like to view historical scores. However, we will not be supporting the app for the time being, meaning, if there are any outages or bugs, we will not resolve them right away.
Our hope is that drum corps can return to a normal season in 2022, in which case we plan to make the app available again.

Due to the cancellation of the 2020 DCI season, we are disabling all automatic renewals of the DrumScorps Season Pass. Furthermore, the Season Pass will no longer be available for purchase within the app. As many of you know, the Season Pass, at an annual cost of $1.99, provides access to recaps, show repertoires, and more within the DrumScorps app. Since there will be no recap and repertoire data for the 2020 season, we will not be providing the Season Pass as an option within the app for 2020.
Everyone stay safe and healthy and we look forward to providing DCI scores and more for the 2021 season.

Thanks for a great season everyone! We're already hard at work for the 2020 season. We have some big things in store and can't wait to show them to you. Be on the lookout for an intermediate release of the app this Fall/Winter. We're making lots of changes to our backend infrastructure to improve the speed and reliability of the app as well as the consistency and accuracy of our data. And of course we'll be doing our standard release just before the 2020 season with new features in the app. See ya then!

I was looking at the results of OC Finals on DrumScorps and saw that the scores for Spartans, Legends and Gold were 81.05, 79.40 and 79.25, respectively. On the overall Rankings tab, though, they are listed as:
Spartans 80.775 (making them look further behind Madison’s 81.10)

Am I reading these wrong? These do not look like two night averages (Prelims & Finals,)
Thanks for the heads up! We found a minor problem on our sever which has been fixed. The rankings tab is now displaying the correct values.
