  1. anyone thinking about trying out for DCI next year? ive given it some thought...
  2. my favorite moment of this past weekend was our (Cru's) prelims performance. It was so intense and emotional, it was the most energetic performance that ive ever been apart of. After the last hit, the feeling i felt ive never felt before, not in anthing that ive done...that show is my all time favorite performance of all time.. it was amazing
  3. The average age of our snareline is 15-16 years old. B) the average age of our drumline (not including the only two adults on top) is about 16-17 years old.
  4. two of our horns who weren't marching stood on the sideline "in the pit" pretty much, and unless you your a percussionist your suppose to come from the field to the pit, not stand there the whole time.
  5. This is the lineup on the site, is this the actual lineup? Brigadiers Buccaneers Bushwackers Caballeros CorpsVets Crusaders Empire Statesmen Hurricanes Minnesota Brass Renegades Chops, Inc* Govenaires* Kilties Sunrisers* Fusion Core* Alliance* Frontier Gulf Coast Sound* Music City Legend White Sabers* Lakeshoremen* SoCal Dream*
  6. where are the registration forms? i went to the dca site, but there was nothing on I&E's there
  7. Housing with Fusion was amazing. You guys were really, really fun. Im going to say one of my favorite moments in my drum corps experience besides winning DCA in 04', was the "sauna sectional". I know people reading this might think its wierd, but its been a while since i've personally had a chance just to chill and hang out with other drummers/corps members and have a good time doing what i love to do. These days everyones so hung up on scores and winning, and hating other corps just because they're in a certain corps...people forget that we're all pretty much the same, we spend many hours working hard, doing what we love to do. Even though i haven't been in the game that long, I've met a lot of people who have been, and from all the stories i've heard and things ive experienced, it seems like drum corps these days aren't like they use to be. Thanx again Fusion...and good luck to the rest of your season, ill be rooting for you at finalss :P
  8. i think this is a very good question..and it def. has me thinking.. one reason i like fast endings is because for the most part they're pretty bad ### (depending on which corp is performing it). I get hyped when i know im about to run across the field playing paradiddles at 208bpm. Its pretty like your last shot to emote all the energy and intensity of the show. p.s- the best ending of DCA 2006 was Cabs...by far
  9. they won cuz they're just hott....and the show was amazing.. black dude doing the robot..priceless....
