  1. It was in about two bars of the closer. jk, I have no idea. I remember hearing the announcer saying Firebird was a part of the show at a few shows too... *shrug*
  2. AFTER flying all the way back home to Japan. Stupid American doctors just thought it was a hernia or something
  3. Judging from the sarcasm in all the other options... I have come to the conclusion that you adored BD 07. Thanks dude :)
  4. *italian italian* BLUE DEVILS MARCHING SHOW BAND!!! *italian italian*
  5. I'd say look into underarmor-type longsleeve shirts (i have a bunch of these, walmart or target brand work fine and are only like 10 dollars a shirt), i dunno if they have full leg stuff... It blocks the sun, but also keeps you pretty cool. As for your face, if the corps allows it I'd recommend a full brim hat, or you can fashion a head wrap out of a shirt (as a member this year did, earning him the nickname of "ninja pat")
  6. I agree, New Balance is the way to go. Many of my fellow members also wore NB; a great majority actually.
  7. Bah sorry, I are reading impaired. In that case, I'm all for tripling the box judges, but then it creates more weight for the individual judges that are on the field, doesn't it?
  8. The only problem with doubling or tripling all the judges... I wouldn't want three times as many people getting in my way on the field, who have nothing to do with the actual show as far as performance goes.
  9. Hey, he had 6 proposals to write! There's no time for proofreading when you have that much to do!
  10. This year, Bluecoats, loved the show. Overall, Blue Knights, gotta support the home team! Plus last year they sounded amazing!
  11. Exactly what I was thinking. And I'm sure there are MANY potential corps members out there who DO have an interest in sound board operation. Also, I bet there's at least one member per year who can't march due to health issues or injuries... Training them to still be a part of the corps by operating the sound board seems like a good alternative to them just going home. Now that I think of it, the several corps who do have alternates that they bring on tour, why not train THEM to operate the board? Plus, the sound board operator could also do narration
