  1. Hi there! I sent you a message a few days ago. Please let me know if you did not receive it.. Thank you!
  2. Here ya go. Box 5 offers this for us and I must say, they did a fantastic job! They had cameras everywhere! Box 5 DCA packages
  3. As always, awesome pictures! Thank you for sharing!
  4. I am so excited about this year! I can't wait to see all of you!
  5. Hmmm...this saddens me. The parking lot gig after Finals was always one of my favorite things. It will be missed. On the upside...we still have mini-corps.
  6. I hate to see any corps suffer with finances, but especially when it's your home team. I would be there Tuesday if I could, but I live many states away. BD has helped so many people and is a very large organization. They provide a solid foundation for kids to grow in and yes, become champions. Some of the members of BD do this every summer because it keeps them off the street and out of trouble while teaching them respect, discipline and making them fine musicians in the process. It teaches all of them to live up to their fullest potential in whatever they do. This is not about Dave Gibbs. This is about the organization and what it means to a lot of people. Drum corps would not be the same without the Blue Devils. BD has always stepped up and helped other corps when they need it...now they need us to do the same. I believe in what BD stands for and the example that they set. I am proud to be an alumni and will always be there to support them. Best of luck Devils. See you on the field!
  7. I was going to dress up as a Phantom or something of that nature, but they told me I couldn't dress scary and scare people at work. So, I thinking of wearing the "Fat Elvis" costume instead. It looks absolutely ridiculas!
  8. Best of luck to you starting your new corps.
  9. Yes, we are! Thank you Dave! I tried to leave a comment on Dave's site, but kept getting error messages. You are greatly appreciated Dave...Thank you Angela, we were very fortunate to have you in the corps, you are family. I was so happy to see you on the field Sunday night. You deserved it! We love you too Sista! See you soon! BTW, you go Sean! I didn't know you got to sit in and play. That's awesome.
  10. Dick, thank you for responding to my question. It is much appreciated.
  11. Actually, I had typed multiple percussive instruments in my edited post but DCP was having issues today. As far as I knew, until just now, my post was not submitted. Perhaps the site was being worked on or something. I do hope that Dick will chime in because I am not the only one curious about this. There needs to be some clarification for those wanting to participate next year. For example, a cowbell is a common accessory, but is still a percussive instrument.
  12. What is irritating to me about snare individuals is that the rules apparently do not apply. No offense to Bill because he is a really nice guy, but he used a cowbell in his solo that was mounted on his snare. John had recorded music, etc in his solo. The rules clearly state that such things are not allowed, but yet the judges overlook it. Why have rules in place if they are not enforced? Just saying.
  13. Tom and Fran, thank you so much for recognizing us. It was an honor to be in that ensemble this year and I am already looking forward to the next season and the Alumni Corps Performance next August at DCI.
