See, I did not post that I had sex with anyone. The point of the post was about lawsuits and if they can help a victim. Your post proves my point.

That is so true. The reason I rarely come on the DCP forum is because the people leaving comments are rarely kind. They do not understand nuance. I normally just come on DCP forums to giggle at the BD haters.

I do not see how that was a flex. It was with another guy. I deleted the post anyway as I should have considered some people could be triggered.

I thought it would widen to almost two points. Maybe tomorrow night. BD will finish with a 98.825 with Boston in 2nd place with a 97.225.

I love BD's show, but I counted 12 dropped pieces of equipment last night. As a guard person it drove me crazy. I then took into account there was some wind, but 12 drops is just not going to cut it! I am sure the next time will be better. I thought BD's previous performance was much better! I am pretty sure BD is going to win it all this year, but I have really learned to love each drum corps for what they offer. My biggest worry is the rising cost of doing drum corps. If things keep going up, I fear this activity I love will no longer be financially viable. I really want to enjoy all the drum corps I can while it still exists!

I do not quite understand why you were surprised. BD's guard is great this year. I think BD and Boston have the two best guards in drum corps this year. I will not be surprised if BD wins the Zingali this year. I also would not be confused if Boston wins guard either. It will go to whichever guard is the most consistent come Finals week, I personally think all the caption awards should go to the the corps who wins the caption on the night of Finals. I hated when they started averaging quarters, semis and Finals. Finals it what matters, right?

It will get bigger. BD is very dirty still. I think this is one of the years BD will take Gold and the silver medalist will be at least 2.5 points behind come Finals. BD is just so good in every section. I cannot wait until they have their real ending though, because right now it is like the show just stops before any ending. It is a big letdown, but I know that is going to be changing in a couple weeks.

I am so excited for the Troopers. This year they had a highly entertaining, and a well designed show that got them back into the top 12. I know they will have the best recruiting year they have had in a while, because students will have been inspired by the 2022 show. More talent, with a good staff in place can only bring even brighter days ahead for the corps from Casper. I am sure their guard will double in size in 2023. They had a talented guard this year, but they just needed more bodies on the field. The bottom line is I have not been this pumped about the Troopers in a very long time. Go Troop!

I would hope before they would sign another long term deal they would have one year of DCI in Southern California. I would have included northern CA too, but I cannot think of a great stadium to host. I have been to the Niner's stadium and it is just too open to the elements. It has especially strong wind bursts in the evening. The new Rams/Chargers stadium can be a closed roof situation. The California corps, since they represent 1/4 of the top 12, deserve DCI to at least discuss holding Finals one more time out west. I know that the beautiful new stadium in LA might be too expensive, but Las Vegas would still be west enough, and the Raiders have a nice brand new indoor stadium. I know it is hard for many corps to go west for financial reasons, but the 3 corps from CA and the 1 from Colorado (a perennial top 12 corps until 2022) have to spend the most money every year on travel. If you now count the Troopers and the Academy 6 of the top 16 World Class corps are in the western part of the USA. Please DCI, if you can, throw us westerners a bone!

I guess you did not pay much attention to the Age Out Ceremony. Not very many BD members in that group. It does not matter. I do think every season is more interesting if you have more than one corps winning major shows and competing for the DCI Gold medal.

They have the youngest corps they have had in years. Perhaps a three in a row will happen. I would like to see BAC get the Gold. I love this years show for Boston, but if they can get a really emotional show and put it all together next year could be their year. I am quite amazed at the progress they have made the last 6 or 7 years, If they can keep their staff together multiple titles will happen!

Yes, I had 6 friends from Freelancers sitting in the stands together and there were some boos after BD performed, They looked in the direction of the boo birds, but they had no tshirts or corps merch on to know who they loved or why they booed. That stuff is not necessary. I asked if they were sure this was not right after the scores were released, but they said no after BD's final notes.

The Soviets also kicked my Grandparents out of the country and took their land and all their possessions, (they lived in Kiev) because they were Jewish. Many others Jewish people were just murdered by the government. I get that WW2 cost the Soviets more soldiers than any other country, but they, like most countries, certainly did not have clean hands!

This happens every year that BD has a significant lead after Quarter Finals. Some people are so desperate for BD to not win that they focus on any mistake that happens. They never want to focus on how beautiful the solos were last night, or how much better the guard was than just a week ago, how their drumline full of rookies actually came in first I think, how wonderfully they move, how much cleaner they are from a week ago. Nope, just any problem that occurs. It's comical at this point, because it has been happening for the past 13 or so years. Ever since BD started winning titles again on a regular basis. I just chalk it up to jealousy. I know everyone wants their favorite corps to win, but that is not possible. To jump on the "anybody but BD" bandwagon is now so popular that as a BD fan you just have to acknowledge it exists, and then just chuckle. The Boston Crusaders have a great show this year. If you like their show more than BD's than just cheer loudly for them if you are fortunate enough to be at DCI, but please do not boo BD after their performance. If their show is not to your taste just stay seated. One more thing for Boston Crusaders fans, no matter who gets first, I believe Boston will place the highest they ever have at DCI Finals this year. That is a huge accomplishment.

Save your money, because drum corps is not cheap and it can be hard to come up with 5 thousand or more dollars when you are going to school and working part time. The more you can save now the easier it will be ! Open class corps are a bit cheaper, since their tours are shorter. You will need about 3 grand plus money for spending and camps. Please take the time to visit the website of each corps you are interested in joining. They all list their fees so you do not have to guess. Good luck, I wish you all the best.

I am so glad I marched when I did. I was only 15 and 16 in Freelancers in 83 and 84 in the rifle line and I would have freaked out if I had to do the show with no shirt and tights or spandex shorts. I was 6 ft tall and weighed maybe 136 pounds. I do think some of these guard unis (and corps unis in general) are a bit questionable. I will say I admire their confidence, but I can tell these guys in BD and BAC's guards are not 15. I had just turned 15 July 6 in 1983 so I was young compared to the top 8 corps' members these days.

Well, I stand corrected. Boston's guard is great again this year. BD cannot seem to hold on to their rifles.

BD has actually won guard both Finals nights in 2018 and 2019, they just did not win the Zingali because of the average of the three nights. It is being perfect on Finals night that matter most!

BD had a great show, except their guard seems to have trouble catching their rifles. I counted 5 drops, and that was on Flo Marching. As a former rifle person drops make me crazy. They should not be happening at this time in the season. Great show overall though.
