Most musical ensembles (Orchestras, Wind Ensembles, Jazz Bands) are made up of many different keyed instruments. Tonal Quality is the most important factor in producing good intonation. Good TQ comes from highly skilled musicians playing on quality instruments. BTW, the Hit Men play Bb trumpets and G everything else, but that's not by choice it's necessity. David

Sue was a wonderful friend of our entire family. The Martin's shared many wonderful times with Baldwin's. One we will never forget was Sue and John's wedding at the hotel in Sherburne. Brass Ensemble Champion in 2006 was won by the Hit Men Brass Band, formerly of Attica, New York. This is the Hit Men's fourth win in the Brass Ensemble event.
