  1. Here is a link to some footage of Brass Attack at the Northwest Pagentry Associations Color Guard Championships Show on March 31st: http://www.fullcircleots.org/brass_temp/brass.htm Ok, so it's in a gym, and way over on the side, and the baris are facing the other way, but I thought I would share anyway. This vid will only be at this URL for a few days, and then will be availiable on our website after that. I'm going to make an effort to update, and get more media on our website soon. Thanks for looking...........
  2. Brass Attack has a nice set of Kanstul brass in the key of: G .....and we like them, although I must admit it is not much of a philosophical choice. They're paid for. Feel free to send us a nice matched set of Kanstul Bb's. We will give them a shot. Compare and contrast. We could even give everyone a report of our findings. It's the least we could do.
  3. Well, I've got about 18-22 brass, and a drummer showing up regularly. I have never had any need to declare us an official "mini-corps" yet. So we are probably an un-official mini-corps project. Does that count?
  4. Don't you mean the Sacreligous Freebasers?
  5. Thanks. I am. Saw your mysterious posting about the dark horse DivIII corps coming to Michigan City. Hope you're right.
  6. The Mariners were robbed tonight. That bad call at first during the bottom of the ninth changed the outcome of the game. It was stone cold obvious he was OUT! I was disgusted. Now back to our regular programming.............................
  7. Wow, so many new names. Are these all going to evolve into field corps, or are there "minicorps" among them. We have just one new Sr. start up here in the Northwest, and it's going to remain off the field for the forseable future. In any case the all age/Sr. scene is spreading. I wonder if these groups will ever outnumber the Jr's? Steve
  8. Well, this year you are going to have to come to Seattle. Next year we will expand our territory. Maybe you guys should put together your own group. there is a lot of good talent in Spokane. "From Spakane, Washington........The Inland Empire!!!!
  9. And when these fine gentlemen are not playing in Madison's alumni corps, they are playing in the Seattle Brass Attack Our website
  10. Hi Guys, It's a little simple thus far, but it's a good start....check it out! Brass Attack Website! We will perform for our first drum corps crowd at the Seattle Cascades home show on July 8th. Here is a link to the show website! And then after that............. We take over the WORLD! -Steve Baretich ( ^0^ bent on global domination)
  11. I bet I don't have to explain where, or why I picked up the nickname "tic" -Steve Baretich
  12. So James, How did you come to be known as "Bubba"? Best Regards, Steve "Tic" Baretich
  13. Well........while we're wishin, Rick can come too. BTW, I'd think you'd get you fill of snowballs during those 9 months of winter in Minnesota.
  14. Coinkadinkaly I instructed the "Brass from the Past" hornline. Brass Attack is basically the logical progression from that group. If I had three wishes right now, Dan and his wife would be 2 of them. I started this project thinking I had him on board, but I believe him when he tells me that his life is too crazy right now to committ to our group. I hope that things settle down for them soon because we could use their talent. Dan plays real good lead baritone.
  15. Of course we're looking for more players on any other horn as well. As they say........ "The more the merrier kick assier". Ooooo I tricked the curse filter! :P Simple pleasures.
  16. Hey, So I think that the topic description says it all. If you play Baritone, and you live in or near Seattle, You need to get ahold of me man, cuz I've got a very nice 3 valve Kanstul Baritone in need of your chops. If you would prefer to use one of our humongous Kanstul Euphoniums, that can be arranged as well. Things are golden here in the great northwest. We make a mighty noise out here. We are playing some great charts. Two of our boys are going back to Madison to perform with the Scout's Alumni project. Rep-pre-zent! ^OO^ We just need a little bigger bottom end (Gudunkadunk!) to match our high powered sop section. Can you help us? Talk to me! s.baretich@comcast.net
  17. The very minute that I: 1. Hit the lottery B. Catch the Bird Flu I'm like..... there!
  18. Today is BLUE THUNDER Audition Day!!! It was a pleasurable experience. Thanks Lisa! If you did not try out today, you better do it tomorrow! We're going back to the Superbowl. The view is great from the field. GO HAWKS!!!
