  1. Fusion Core unveiled its refreshed brand on social media today as part of the Core's tenth anniversary season. The inspired new look, created by guard staff member Tim McLaughlin, will feature prominently wherever Fusion is seen. “I'm thrilled with Tim's work!" said Core Director Holly Marino. "It's another great step toward this special season for us." The logo retains key elements of the group's previous identity and focuses on the hallmarks of Fusion Core that make it unique. “Beyond a drum corps, Fusion is a family–connected, energetic, powerful, and driven. These words describe Fusion's symbol, the atom core," said Tim of his inspiration. That "core" is retained and represents the family feeling that is at the center of each Fusion program. "The typeface reflects the energy and movement that drives through the members,” Tim said. “The refreshed logo gives a nod to the past and continues the momentum on to the future.” The new look will represent Fusion Core on social media, and on merchandise, apparel, and equipment. Of course, it’s purple. Visual branding projects for Core Lite, the Fusion mini-corps, and the 2016 production “UP” were also undertaken. The Core Store, featuring Fusion items that sport the new brand, is now live online at the core’s website. Members and fans can order t-shirts, sweats, and tanks at: www.fusioncorenj.com/merchandise.html Additional items will be available soon. For more information about the Core visit their website at: www.fusioncorenj.com.
  2. I hope so, too FN is too expensive to have so many problems!
  3. I'm having the same problem and have been in line for "live chat" help for 45 minutes. Restarted browser, restarted computer, hasn't helped. Just a black screen. P
  4. I think Dennis hit on something significant. Shows are so complex and performance levels so high in the last two decades, or so. No longer can a kid off the corner spend the summer in drum corps, just to avoid the pains of an ill-spent youth. This also speaks to much of the G-7 debate on which you speak so well. Peace, always. PHM
  5. Not sure about third, but something other than first. BD puts on a spectacle, but the visual demand on the musicians is not near to their competitors! Thanks for opening my eyes.
  6. Sorry if this is ancient, but when did Spirit lose the "J S U" Are they still affiliated with the university?
  7. Just to chime in, I too, gave up on Friends of DCI when I found that better seats were available by buying early among Non-Friends. The benefits offered just didn't warrant the costs. Instead I give that money directly to the corps. Friends of DCI was poorly organized which is troubling when it could be a great source of additional income.
  8. I had the same question, It looks like it should be something, but I don't know what. Good brass sounds and improved program and guard. Troop could move this year!!!
  9. Good Job Mandarins they seem to settle into their program after the opener. Maybe it was nerves?? Go Troopers!!!
  10. Best of luck Doreen!!! Fly Sky! Hope you are well Phil alias Fish alias Flounder Sky 84, 85, 86, 87, 88?
