I may have seen it differently, but congrats to Bucs. As an alumnus I am proud of that performance. The absolutely astonishing penalty by the T&P judge on the other hand, was a horrible thing to do, and DCA has some explaining to do.
same thig happened in 72 DCA. no explanation. but there was a lawsuit.

And they swept all captions. Boom!
taking all those captions was awesome. i mean how did they do it? they couldn't even win thrie own show last week! congrats to the greatest DCA corps of all time
sorry frank. i feel for ya buddy. i thought ya had it tonight.

Repost of All Finals Scores from Kevin.
holy cats the bucs pulled it off in the end.
-
Really? This explains a lot.
Sorry, I am not a red team fan boy. Not drinking their kool aid.
who is big red? when you say something about a soloist am i supposed to read you're mind and know what you are talking about? and just because a soloist is bad the entire corps needs to suffer? i mean talk in plain terms cause really i have know idea who or what you are talking about. and that explains a lot. a lot more than you at least. sorry.

Screaming out of tune trumpet soloists. Nice.
what are you talking about? really i don't know.

I Like this. It's like DCI Does with open and World class.
DCA did this from the beginning and then sometime , i don't know when , they mad class A. for the smaller corps. but now they are beating the scores of the finalists. i would be in favor of the top 12. and leave it at that.

I kinda liked the idea I heard a year or two ago. Crown the A Class champion at prelims, and then take the top 12 corps by score regardless of class as finalists. Heck, take 15. Whatever. With the top ten being the voting members. You still reward Class A corps for a job well done, but you get the top corps in finals regardless of class.
This year, with twelve we'd have:
Caballeros 96.85Minnesota Brass 96.40Buccaneers 95.95Fusion Core 94.23Atlanta CV 91.85Cadets² 91.10Bushwackers 88.98White Sabers 88.03Hurricanes 86.58Carolina Gold 85.05Govenaires 84.95Alliance 84.45----------------------------------Sunrisers 83.50Sun Devils 82.25Windsor Regiment 79.08Skyliners 77.63Kilties 74.48Cincinnati Tradition 73.93Excelsior 71.33and thats exactly how it used to be done.and maybe they should go back to it.

I'm not going back looking ,waste of time ,but many did
cause that's how you roll.
-
There are other words to use rather than LOSSER ,none finalist ,close but just fell short ,I have a hard time calling any corps a losser If members or some one thinking of joining said corps was to read that ,I don't think they would join said corps.Feel bad for Windsor already being put in that postion .
it's loser.

I have no reason to think it won't run as scheduled. There's no weather issue tonight, and yesterday ran pretty much on time. DCA has always done a good job of keeping things to schedule, barring some mitigating circumstances, like 2005 or 2006.
gotcha. i hope you are right.

Stadium problem.
oh now that's not good. didn't they have a problem there the 1st year of FN?
-
It's another reason to reconsider further years in Rochester, that's for sure.
gonna be there next year. was it a rochester problem or a network problem?
-
What problems did they have
-
Crowd near me seemed quite surprised (as I was) to learn that Minnesota finished ahead of Reading.
well seeing that MBI had problems during the show if they straightened out, and i'm sure they will i expect them to do what i said , win it all!

you are just jealous.

I didn't realize this was "The Don Show"
well see it is.

-
this all stared with hurcs taking best guard started by you ,then when on to matadors taking best guard but came in 11 just like the hurcs its a continuation of some thing you started
yup i was talking about 2014. not 1983 or 1986. not hard to follow.
-
No its all on topic some people just don't follow the program
Kamarag I didn't know that I needed 3 d glasses to read Jeffs threads now LOL
no it's off topic. this is 2014.got the year?
-
That's been true since 2007. At least in Class A, prior to that caption awards were given based on prelim scores.
And then Chops had to go and win High Percussion in 2006 and still miss finals, so the rule got chamged.
i could be wrong but isn't this thread about.........2014 DCA? how did we go back over 20 years?
-
Don, you have the same capabilities at your disposal.
Read what Andy said.
unlike you my shed buddy i lived in rochester and i knew it was leroy. been there many times. i didn't need to google that one. c'mon man.
