Yup but the law said you claim the heritage you claim the baggage.
Fair point. But ultimately the plaintiff's lawyers had to know this would be the end result, right?

I’m for justice for victims of sexual abuse etc, but it seems to me that the only outcome in this lawsuit and going after any entity with the Cadet's moniker would only result in this and thus they get nothing monetarily. This is not like going after a mogul or the Catholic Church with deep pockets. It’s a newly formed organization that technically had nothing to do with the very unfortunate events from 42 years ago.

Gotcha. So it feels like you want to hurt SCV because they hurt you. And rather than working with them in a way that the organization deems acceptable, you prefer to torch the organization down since they didn’t interview you in 2019 or take you up on your offers in the last year or two (based on previous comments in SCV alumni FB).
Generally speaking, I’ve followed your content since SCV announced last year and mostly agree with your points. But the approach of torching isn’t going to help your opportunity to convince SCV you can help them. Unless your end goal is helping to officially end SCV ever fielding a corps again.
Thank you!

BAC had a tough book. I think the judge was right on tonight. I love that Crown was 3rd because they use so much space in their battery book. BD even was ok in 2nd because they had some tough riffs. I think their snare feature was the hardest in DCI this year.
I posted this, which shows the ups and downs of everyone 2nd-6th.

Hope this makes sense. Probably not a good idea to create this late at night while tired, 😂

So...let's say that tomorrow night Crown or BAC or both pop a 96.
Is BD still undefeated?
Ah, yeah

Righttttt. Yeah, because the DCP Forum is filled with nuance, reliable, responsible discourse, that has the magic rainbow powers to affect change. DCP is the place where what is said here, will always shake the very foundations that DCI is built upon!

I just watched last night's run-through of BD on YT. The accused is not on the field. If you put 2 and 2 together or know who it is, it's obvious watching the run-through. Full disclosure, it's possible it may be someone else from the section sitting out as the video is a high-cam vantage point. So I could be wrong. But yet, one of the apparatus is missing off the field

Playing catch up here and howdy to all. I really love the Troopers show and I think they have a chance at the Top 10. Credit to the staff and members for pushing the limits. Look forward to seeing this show evolving and improving. Great start to their season.

Based on the show name, I would think this will be added to their repertoire.

If you watched World War Z, this song that PR is doing will sound familiar.

Also, they may luck out and get more time as the CA bureaucracy is still catching up from COVID.
Maybe SCV’s saving grace, the backlog from COVID

While I want to be angry at your comment, I can't. It stings 'cause it strikes true to this ole bat. Ultimately if this move keeps MMs safer, then so be it. Fix it, VMAPA, all of it. I'm hoping the changeover in the CFO role has something to do with this and wish Ms. Bauman godspeed.
Food for thought below regarding our friends across the bay:
It angered me to make the comment as a huge fan and donor to SCV.

He's already the book writer at Troopers. Baller move would be for the SCV vets to go over there en masse.
I doubted when I just heard that Troopers had over 120 for just drums at their camp this last weekend. Over 60 of those just for snare.

On the percussion front, I’m hearing Phantom Regiment’s line is not set. Rennick’s disciples are running the show there. I expect the Rennick’s to bring in as much of their UNT crew over. Heck, he could be a “consultant”.

The bottom line is that when you have a revolving door of leadership at the administrative level, it’s difficult to pivot and diversify like their neighbors across the Bay. Their neighbors have stability in their leadership. They have diversified their sources of revenue via acquisition of USBands, running BD Entertainment, etc and other circuits. Meanwhile SCV is looking more and more like Blockbuster video, lacking the vision of the aforementioned hoping that Bingo will solve their problems. Even in the statement released tonight, they banked on a city council to allow another Bingo Hall to open. To say it’s out of their control is a little disingenuous.

Makes one wonder if there’s a 3rd party funding the suit.
