    It was 1968. I was a boy scout running sheets. Kilts were there, they were great. Later on I saw their soprano soloist walking on the track with a girl under each arm. SOLD

    How about this: Has any corps won DCI without winning a single high caption award? I know Santa Clara captured a VFW title that way back in 1971. (Sorry I now see this was in another thread)

    Lights and sound problems in Wisconsin too. But all in all really enjoyed it. Was really surprised by the voting. GO OLD FOGIES!!!

    The first show of the season was in Kenosha and boy was it cold when the wind came off the lake. The last show of the season was State Fair Park and you had to modify the drill to fit a race track.
