  9. The schedule in the first post of this thread has been updated.
  10. It promises to be a hot night in Clovis on Friday, June 23 - opening night for drum corps on the west coast. Temps are predicted to be in the low 100's during the afternoon, so it will still be a bit toasty at Buchanan High School's Veteran's Memorial Stadium when the show kicks off at 6:30. UPDATE: Schedule updated to reflect new times 7:10 p.m. Welcome & National Anthem 7:25 p.m. Blue Devils C - Concord, CA 7:40 p.m. Golden Empire - Bakersfield, CA 7:55 p.m. Vanguard Cadets - Santa Clara, CA 8:10 p.m. Blue Devils B - Concord, CA 8:25 p.m. Intermission 8:45 p.m. Mandarins - Sacramento, CA 9:03 p.m. Pacific Crest - Diamond Bar, CA 9:21 p.m. The Academy - Tempe, AZ 9:39 p.m. Blue Knights - Denver, CO 9:57 p.m. Santa Clara Vanguard - Santa Clara, CA 10:15 p.m. Blue Devils - Concord, CA 10:33 p.m. Phantom Regiment - Rockford, IL I'm looking forward to a great night of drum corps by some of my favorite corps. See you there!
  11. I do ... and I expect EVERYONE does. While I don't have specific crash data, I strongly suspect it has a great deal to do with the 90+ video players that are in the first post of the thread .... causing the browser to exhaust its resources and simply blow-up. Each of the embedded video players is going to consume memory and video resources the browser is just not equipped to handle on that scale. While it is convenient to present all of the content on a single page, doing so definitely has some drawbacks. The only alternative would be to reduce the number of videos presented on a single page. That's my best guess. -john
  12. I was at the show last night as-well. Although much of my time was spent in the ticketing booth - I was able to catch both Gold and Pacific Crest. Both shows were great ... Gold providing a sample of what they have coming - and PC with a significant improvement over recent years. PC has a fun book that the kids are excited to perform and there's some fantastic talent on the field. I'm excited to see where these shows go throughout the season. Looking forward to seeing and hearing more next weekend in Clovis and Stanford.
  13. The 'issue' is with the 'preview' image scaling by the forum. Click on the image for a full-size proper-aspect-ratio version of the image.
  14. Just a heads-up regarding the Season Pass subscription for Apple users: Your initial subscription to the Season Pass comes with a 7-day 'free trial' ... after which your account is charged the $1.99, if you have "Auto Renew" enabled for the subscription. If you don't have the subscription set to "Auto Renew", the trial will end and you will not have access to the Season Pass content. You will receive a notice that your subscription is being renewed - but please know this is NOT a duplicate payment. It is the payment for the first year's subscription - after the 7-day free trial. Hopefully this answers any questions you may have about the Subscription Renewal email you receive. Thanks! -john
  15. We don't have plans to include that data at this time. That may change at some point in the future - but not at this time.
  16. I've just added a new batch of Smileys / emoticons for use on the forum. To select the new set, use the "Categories" choice-list to select "Smileys and People" and the new set will be available. and 193 more. They are *not* animated, like some of the older library - which are still available for your use. Have fun! -john
  17. Just a quick note to let you know that I'm going to try to keep this thread pretty strictly on-topic - primarily because we're trying to answer questions about the app and its features. Off-topic posts will only make it incredibly difficult to focus on the things people are coming here to ask and get answers to. Thanks for understanding.
  18. REMINDER: If you're happy with the app, please take a moment to write a review on your respective App Store. If you're not happy, well ..... let us know here and give us a chance to resolve it.
  19. THANKS! Push notifications are in the current version and will be sent when scores are available for each show. With respect to notifications for selected corps, we have made a number of changes in our notification platform, including changing the service provider, to permit this feature in the future. We wanted to get the new notification platform in-place first and ensure that everything was working properly on a large scale before adding the complexity of per-corps notifications. The 'favorite corps notification' feature has been on the drawing board since Day 1 ... and we are much closer now to fully implementing the feature. Stay tuned. -john
  20. Try clearing your browser cache and reloading the page. If the problem persists, please post in the "DCP Member Service Center" forum. We don't monitor these threads for this sort of thing.
  21. Easy-peasey - am I right? I think Drew has done a great job making it quite easy to post directly into our "Official" threads - which should make it perfect for posting updates and images from shows and other events.
  22. Posts in the database extend at-least back to 2005. We made a number of changes to the site's organization about 10 years ago, which may have removed access to some of the older content. Also - due to the size of our database, we have placed some limits on full-text searches - but you should be able to find what you're looking for. An alternative would be to use Google to search. The site is indexed by Google and you can refine your Google search by including "site:drumcorpsplanet.com" in your search request.
  23. Reminder - The policy above remains in-effect. Please read it carefully. "Links to YouTube.com are permitted for drum corps content" - while links to drum corps content videos on other sites remain prohibited. Why? Because DCI and many, if not all, of its member corps have established YouTube as a means for distributing video to the public. If content is posted to YouTube that they believe violate their copyright or other proprietary rights, there is a well-established process to remove that content AT THE SOURCE. Removing it from DCP and punishing a member for sharing something that is otherwise available to the public seems a little foolish. If there is content on YouTube that you own and believe violates your copyright, trademark, or is otherwise inappropriate, here is the link to the process for review and removal: https://www.youtube.com/copyright_complaint_form.
