Yeah, silly me! We can find fault in about 50% of the shows out there, if we want to take a Puritanical stance. But it is art. And art is sometimes edgy. And even though you and I made fun of this in our posts, there are people who might actually take these things seriously. Especially the Kilties cross-dressing. Darn those Scots! ;) Anyway, happy 4th to everyone.....even though you think that Spartacus should have simply held peaceful protests.

I personally think DCI is better with you back. (OH, and thank you for letting us use your trailer last year. Even though we caught it on fire before our first show last year.....but that wasn't against you....we just really wanted to steal Academy's horns before the first show.) Best of luck Yamato!!!!! ....and MANY more successful years to come.....

I just want to point out the great positive comments that this review had. Everyone points out negatives, but this review really put everyone in a great light. We need more positive comments and reviews like this for the kids who work so hard for the activity. Thanks, PeeWee!!!

You know...I'm very supportive of what you guys are doing. A lot of love from VK. We were starting a corps again last year. I know it is hard. BUT...you guys DID show up with a strong showing. Imagine in 10 years........ I appreciate what you are doing. Much support (and applause) from all of us at VK..... ......can't wait to see you guys in a week..... I really think I can speak for everyone at VK when I say best of luck to all of you through what will be an incredible summer for all of you..... Kick some butt, ok? Love you guys. GO FOR IT!!!!!!

Yeah, but I wanna freebee. Do you know that I'm broke and still VK-ing???? Well, it is the way it should be, I guess. Join VK. Because Big Brother loves us. You know he does. He said so to me just the other day......... Join VK. Because if you don't, people won't like you as much and stuff...... Join VK. Or donate money. Lots of money. I mean, more than McCain wants for alternative energy and stuff. Or more than Obama wants for good profile picture shots and stuff ( do you notice he is always looking into the future which we can't see?????). Or more than you pay in gas. Yeah, that would be good. Republicans, Democrats, Independents and EVERYONE else votes for VK. (Mostly because it is an election year we will exploit it. Imagine that we have said something that you agree with and are really emotional about. And then go to www.vkyao.org to find out how to donate further......You know you want to. Or you want to march. Either way, you are part of the cool kids......) Obey the propaganda...march or donate mass amounts of money to VK..... It's good for you.......and the world. Oh......and the environment. We are environmentally friendly. Just like the car companies. I mean, well, no....not really like them, but the them that THEY want you to think about. Got the pic? OK. BUT!!! We are WAY more environmentally friendly than they are. What am I on about anyway??? I have 3 spots. AND we need support (as most corps do now)....... Anyway, thanks to the NUMEROUS fans who came out this weekend!!! It is most appreciated, even though it was an eval show....and to the 2007 alumni who were there....I WISH YOU WERE HERE....sorry to quote Pink Floyd, but you know what I mean......I love you guys (as everyone here does)........ OK So we need 1 sop, 1 mello, 1 bari to make the line complete this year. It's VK so it's fun and stuff. Oh, and there's that hard work thing, the experience of a lifetime thing, and I love the corps thing. But don't take it from me. Ask the members. They work their butts off and are having fun. Go on. Ask them. I dare ya. But we need 3 more. Do YOU want to be part of a great corps experience? Then come along with us. No pressure, man......:)

OK....I'll stand corrected on the historical "Saints". However, I've seen MANY arrangements over the years (including one done by one of the high schools jazz bands that I taught this year) using "home" instead of "in". And as the arranger of a public domain, old spiritual, I can change the name to whatever I want. Personally, I think it should retitled "When the Muzz Goes Preachin' On", but that's just me....
