The answer is unequivocally no.
My own story is pretty awful. The short of it is that during the 03' season, I joined a division III corps as a lead Euph player after graduating. A good friend of mine contracted an agressive form of cancer, and I bailed out to go see him when I heard things looked bad near the end of June. A few people in the corps said I just couldnt cut it, and I dont think thats completely fair, but at the end of the day I don't claim to have marched any more than I actually did.
I spent the rest of the summer and some time after that being embarassed about the decision, which still bugs me a bit today. I wrote to a few corps directors in an email about rooking out and recieved some very nice responses and encouragement. As luck would have it, I found my current fiancee two days later, and that fell through.
Some day I hope to join a senior corps and get back into it. I did love the activity. I don't know how senior corps people react to people such as me at this time however.
