Seeing these photos reminds me of 1976 when I was in the Scouts and we were on tour out west.

We were right next to the Kingsmen (if I remember right) during retreat in Thousand Oaks, CA.

It was just so fricking nice to see AK back on the field again.

It was like the drum corps ship was back on the correct course and every thing was o.k. again in the drum corps world.

Well now 1000's of people will get to feel the same way I did 31 years ago. Welcome back and have a blast, it'll be over way too quickly.

Man, that is just AWESOME! Thanks for posting these! Anyone a snare drummer would know in the snareline? I know there are some pretty famous Kingsmen snares...

And those rifles, YEAH!
