Too bad the show we played the night before at the Crowne Plaza didn't travel with us to the stadium on Sunday, the snare line was smoking. Saw the Optimists at their rehearsal outside the Crowne Plaza Saturday night, and Les Diplomates at the alumni show Sunday. Absolutely... bring 'em both back!!!! Just one request for Les Dips: Please do the "rolling block" drill move in your show next year... you'll bring the house down if you do! Sunday was also the first time I've ever seen the legendary Scout House in person. What a treat! I loved it when they trooped the stands playing "Colonel Bogey March," with the color guard, honor guard and drum majors doing that famous high step and arm swing, and the audience clapping along in time to the music.
