The kinda is it is merging with another Post. (Did some lunch time googling). http://www.pressandguide.com/stories/04150...070414003.shtml Edit: Dang, Witch City still exists too... http://www.moondragon.org/salem/vfw.html Edited September 25, 2007 by JimF-3rdBari Quote
sburstall Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Royal Oak, Michigan. Wasn't that the home town of the junior Iron Brigade? I competed against them in the mid 70's. Kind of. IB was in Madison Heights, which a suburb next to Royal Oak. Quote
mbdrums Posted February 16, 2025 Posted February 16, 2025 Hello Friends. I've had this newspaper clipping from the Philadelphia Public Ledger. I'm assuming it's from 1941. It's of my late drum teacher & mentor - William H. Reamer. It says he was "Champion individual drummer of the 1940 VFW drum and bugle corps contest. He defends his title tonight." Â The only thing is, I find other information contrary to that. Any thoughts?? I don't think they would be lying. Many Thanks in advance! https://www.facebook.com/share/165BS4Xvbm/?mibextid=wwXIfr Quote
