gsksun4
OT again - Robin Williams. Hard to think of words for how sad this is. Remember 1978 DCI when TV crews were filming (taping?) scenes at Boulder HS stadium for Mork and MIndy. Hard to think of someone that funny being so in the thrall of depression. Makes you (again) want to go around and hug the people you care about, and the people that make you laugh. Laughter is so critical to life. RIP ... Very sad indeed, considering how many he made laugh. RIP.

gsksun4
video is great. in person is the way. Luckily I got see Kinison live, Carlin a few times Sam Kinison was one of a kind and Rodney Dangerfield loved this guy. There's a few on YT from Dangerfields club in NYC back then that are extremely funny, but I think people would have paid money just to hear him scream. gsksun4
Are we not going to hear more about the current feature, I mean he is well known? This gent once helped hand out elbow macaroni to his corps in waiting to enter the stadium, so they would be reminded to maintain proper interval while marching. "Elbows!!!", he declared, Maintain Interval!!!". BTW, it worked.

I just spent a very fast few hours with him on Sunday at a watering hole in CT ... he was in for a PCP rehearsal ... someone should have taped it ... pure "off the cuff" dc stories at their best ... we realized the first time we most likely met was at St. Catherine's I&E show in 62 ... most definitely a night to remember ... :-)
