KeithHall
What about "I'm In Love With My Car?" The corps that brought you Kill Bill Volume I & II and Star Trek has gone all out for 2008. We are proud present “We Will Rock You”, the music selections of Queen from the musical “We Will Rock You”. As usual SoCal Dream design team has taken steps beyond the typical boundaries of drum corps to bring the fans very exciting show. Our production opens up with “Show Must Go On” & “Death On Two Legs”. For the second piece “Somebody to Love” & Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, Should give our fans something to hum to when leaving the stadium. Next comes the ballad from the movie Highlander “Who Wants to Live Forever” this tune will evoke the emotions of the heart and soul. Closing the show out will be “Don’t Stop Me Now” but we couldn’t resist and inter mixed a few well known “Queen” hit to round out the show. SoCal Dream will be making the trip Drum Corps Association (DCA) Championships in Rochester New York, this will be our fourth appearance to DCA. Jomusichn
It might be in there. Dream is becoming known for the Easter Eggs in the music. What about "I'm In Love With My Car?"
drumlaw80
Some Trivia -- "We are the Champions" was the 2003 Renegades original closer. We shelved it out of consideration that it might be perceived as a slight towards other DCA corps, and not a statement about the conflict between good and evil (which was our design intent). It all ended good, as we eventually created the "Rave" to end the show...

While true, I dont think anyone caught even half of the Easter Eggs hidden in our show last year. Listen carefully this year.....there will probably be more than in last years show. Jomusichn
There was even part of the Muppet Show buried in our music last year. And, can anyone guess the Broadway musical themed in the opener? A Tribute to our friends up north, somewhere?
