"Real" China Silk Question

Just because it says "Made in China" doesn't mean it is REAL silk. Polyester China silk is just that - polyester blended with china silk. Raw china silk is pure silk, and not mixed with other fibers. therefore, it is not accurate to say that poly china silk is "real" just because it is stamped with a MADE IN CHINA label.

The band hall sells Poly China Silk. They do not sell 100% China Silk.

Yes, I called Band Hall and FJM first, to see if they still sold it, but both have moved to only Poly China-Silk (they used to sell real silk, but haven't in years). Dye won't take with synthetic fibers, so we had to have the real thing.....100% real silk. I got my 50 yards of 8mm Silk Habotai from Dharma Trading today and started making flags tonight during rehearsal. :w00t::w00t: Thanks everyone!
