Former Madison Bus

Recommended Posts

I just stumbled upon this. The guy bought it, replaced the engine and started to convert it to a motorhome.

I love how this guy says it was owned by the "Boy Scouts" and they blew up the engine.. :innocent:

If he only knew.. yada, yada..

Can someone find out what he paid for it..to see if he's making money, or unloading it as he describes.

Well the engine blowing up sounds pretty accurate.

Since we are on the topic of Madison busses, is there any truth to the story from 197X (can't remember exactly which year, but had to be before '77 cause that's when I heard the story) of the Scouts turning one of their busses on its side?

I thought maybe it would be one of these buses:

(thanks to the awesome Sandy Lister from the Crossmen for the photo!)

... and it would seem there would be no hope for renovation of the drumline bus anyway after we were done with these babies:
