Galen
As a Purdue fan, this news is extremely disappointing. No it's not- Ross-Ade's a pit and you know it As for the question of the DM platform, there'll be adequate space for DM platforms, pit setups, and all that. There may not be as much space between all that and the sidelines as there has been in the last few years- but that just means more fun for the people in the first few rows

Fran Haring
This is not the end of the world. In 2000, the College Park venue was actually the third option for that year. Things worked out OK. Fran
Zeke
Should've Left in in Madison...I knew it !!! I wonder if this might put them into a situation where they have to possibly Lower the price of tickets..and actually refund the differences from said tix price reductions. What a bummer !!!! Someone dropped the ball on assuming it would be done. Edited April 5, 2008 by Zeke

DCIHasBeen
As I recall, the airport runway in Bloomington wasn't big enough for commercial jets ... Has this changed in the last 10 years or so, or do you still have to drive to Bloomington from Indy?
Fran Haring
Hmm, what were the 1st 2 options for that year? The Washington Redskins' football stadium (now called FedEx Field) and the Baltimore Ravens' football stadium (now M&T Bank Stadium). IllianaLancerContra
As a Purdue fan, this news is extremely disappointing. Understand. but does Bloomington have commercial air service? Lafayette doesn't (any more). Hope everyone flying to Indy has a rental car. Or, I guess there is a bus. ps - I am a Purdue grad (84). Go Boilers! Meaghatron
I'm not really surprised at the news. Although, I agree with Conner, it is kind of a disaster. Seating should be the most interesting thing to fix.
