starguard69
I just wanted to say how happy I was to see so many CAVALIER ALUMNI at the Indy Camp!!! The entire camp was electric!!!!! You could just feel the energy the entire three days. The drumline was huge, the hornline was rather small, only 69 HORNS!!!!!!! The Guard talent was the best of the Best of the Cavalier Guard. The horns sounded very powerful with a very hot drumline!!!!! The drill is a composite of old school with a seasoning of the Unique Cavalier drill design and movement and marching Style. I believe Alumni Corps will never be the same again. My thanks to all of the six DCI Hall of Fame Instructors that teaching this corps. Especially to the Sal Ferrara on his 75th birthday and the "adopted father Spirit" of the Cavalier Anniversary Corps. My Thanks to Chris Hartowicz for doing this... and to the Men of Summer ...who I haven't seen in over thirty years.... Kelly Green, Black ,and White is Back making history..... AGAIN!!!!! John A. Leggett P.S. Shut up and play your part Tom Poz and Tom Freeman, where are you?
