Feathers Up Posted July 6, 2008 Share Posted July 6, 2008 I can hear and see... lol..And I agree..It's funny how all you did was say "more like 7th" and people think you are some Bluecoats hater..Looking at everything "right now", they are probably in the 5-7 range..I'm really digging the show this year, and I know they have the talent to move up. They look and sound incredible, and as things clean this show should be one of the crowd pleasers and also one that can challenge for top 5. I saw them plenty before the season started, and I was loving it then, although I knew so much needed to be added. The new flag colors and the new drill has really added to this show, and I know the staff has more in store for all the fans. Keep chuggin' along, BLOOOOOOOO! Earlier in another thread dciguy1987 said that bluecoats would be lucky to place seventh. I think it's clear that seventh is the worst case scenario for bloo this year. I think right now, they're exactly where their product and their talent should be placing them and that's 7th. It's not hating, just realism. I have no doubt that they will not peak this year like they did last and they'll continue to grow through finals. They've got a hard show and a young corps where 1-4 are probably mostly seasoned vets. For the Bluecoats to be where they are already with such young people is mind-blowing. Only good things can come. Just because our opinions line up with those of trained professionals (AKA the DCI judging community) doesn't make everyone out to be haters. Don't be so paranoid. Not everyone is out to get the Bluecoats. Hearts and flowers. They'll be great this year. People are excited about it.
