WHOA! throwin down some Float licks! 92- Stood in a Victory arc hearing Blue Devils play "When a Man Loves a Woman". I dont think i will ever forget what that sounded like. 94- Heard the US Marine Drum and Bugle Corps play "Summertime" and a medley from "Les Miserables". Fantastic! made me join! 96- Blue Devils- The whole opening statement. Chills just thinking of it! 99- SCV- Holy S*** 2000- Cadets whole show, especially the quad break. Simple, but GREAT gimmicks! real crowd pleaser too BAC- Inspired performance! BD- Uniqueness.. a rediculous amount of volume and CLARITY while playing at that level. 2002- Cadets Tribute Blue Devils Percussion. 2003- Phantom.. RRRRRRRRRRRRREgiment! what a show! BD- Picture of clarity and control. just spot on! Cavaliers- Not one of thier most heralded shows, but my fav! many more, but its too late at night! whitedawn Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 seeing the cadets warm up in 2003 in murray, kentucky was a huge deal also. the white dawn sequence that year baaaaasically changed my life.....i think they played it quietly, sung it, and played it full out. wish there was a recording of it (and its not the sequence that wound up being called white dawn afterwards, that cap reg and some others played). magic played it in '04 too, i think. yeah that was pretty sweet. I didn't really care for their overall show that year, but they absolutely threw down in Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy afterwards. If memory serves, they played it twice due to the overwhelming crowd reaction. true story. i was there. i'll never forget it. ONE MORE TIME! they chanted...
