blue9195
SCV will probably get it due to overall highest score. But I think a coin flip between DMs on Quarters Night would be cool as ####. Talk about suspense for the theater show..... both corps at the gate....... DMs on the 50.........chief judge and a coin......... It won't happen, but it would have been cool. Pinwiz
Or maybe Bluecoats get the spot for the most head-to-head victories at Regionals? Edited August 3, 2008 by Pinwiz

kaplac
They might just end up taking scores from the last show the two corps performed in that isn't already averaged to decide the tie breaker. Or they flip a coin or something like that. Btw, Significant figures would dictate that none of the averages would go past the thousandths. It's not like placements will be different because of it, it just bugs me a bit. Either way, Go Troop!

I chose ten-thousandths because it helped to show both 3 and 6 repeating better, but I understand where you are coming from.
tubawarrior
interesting how a slight change in the numbers changes where they lie. I used the evening scores from SA/Atl, and here's what I got (only going to three decimal places): 1. Blue Devils 92.425 2. Cavaliers 91.819 3. Carolina Crown 90.919 4. Phantom Regiment 90.831 5. Cadets 90.144 6. Santa Clara Vanguard 87.244 7. Bluecoats 87.244 8. Blue Knights 83.713 9. Boston Crusaders 83.150 10. Blue Stars 82.150 11. Glassmen 81.394 12. Madison 79.663 13. Colts 79.619 14. Crossmen 79.231 15. Spirit 78.988 16. Pacific Crest 76.794 17. Troopers 76.550 18. Academy 74.638 19. Mandarins 74.150 20. Pioneer 69.619 Bluecoats and Vanguard still tie, but using the evening numbers only Crossmen drops 2 places...it will be interesting to see which numbers are used. euphguy
Is it just me, or does this lineup (particularly the top 12) have the potential for the most changes/flip-flops ever?
