Things you would like Corps to change for next year...

Recommended Posts

Santa Clara Vanguard:

- Fire director

- Fire Key Poulan

- Fire brass staff

- DON'T DO CLUE! Almost the entire design team is changed since it was designed.

- Get music on time so we can get drill on time! (get show done earlier)

Yes, that would be the perfect thing to do....if they wanted to rile up the members even MORE than last year and have more vets than before defecting to other corps. I'd like to see what would happen if they could go just ONE year without having to "rebuild" one of the captions.

As far as the design team, they've had the same director, program coordinator, brass arranger, drill designer, colorguard designers, and their whole posse of consultants since 2006, so I'm pretty sure most of the people who came up with the "Clue" concept are still around.

phantom regiment: perfect

blue devils: play jazz, have some class

cavaliers: play music, have some class

carolina crown: perfect, though i agree with the purple plume idea

cadets: based on the announcements for next year... perfect

bluecoats: i wish i didn't have to say this, but have some class... also, white pants and helmet

scv: have a full show at the beginning of the season... very classy corps, just do better work next year

blue stars: old uniform, imo... up your percussion

blue knights: see cavaliers

finally, madison scouts: white pants, not sure on the tuxedo shirt thing idea... good luck, control your bass drummers

EDIT: forgot to address dci as a whole. have retreats at regionals so we can end the travesty that finals retreat has become. bring back some semblance of tradition and respect.

Maybe a whole new look for my beloved corps. (nobody panic, it's just a sketch from Stanbury's website. But... I kinda like it.)

Uhhh - would you like to hear my vote on that?

I kinda like it, looks sleek and still has that unique western cavalry feel.

No narration from anyone!

Not a change but I hope designers (most of them) have learned from amplified vocals and apply it to electronics; KEEP IT SIMPLE AND

DON'T LET IT TAKE AWAY FROM THE ACCOUSTIC BRASS AND PERCUSSION!!!

Everybody. Take microphone plugging in and checking lessons form Bluecoats, so as we never hear another mic again. Make sure that you all buy the most expensive synthesizer and do everything with it. Get the best speakers possible so that we don't hear those stupid horns and drums over that  wonderfull  electronic  instrument, and Phantom, WIN AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

1. Madison Scouts go back to Salas-era uniforms.

2. More encore stuff like San Antonio Regional in 2004
