GMichael1230
Well in G's defense, he did say Cadets had the best drill (if nothing else mattered). And we all know Im talking about the narration, Best drill means better than the rest, first, greatest, etc, etc, etc...not gonna award that, in my opinion, if I "hate" Cadets..LOL "hate" so many throw that word around, its a strong word and I rarely use it in real life and only use it regarding narration here in drum corps. And I know you know that, just venting...... Geoffrey
Bob984
IMO.....Phantom had the best corps/show.....Crown was a close 2nd, with the best brass line......Phantom best percussion....for me, those two were clearly head and shoulders above the rest........... Perry S
What I don't understand is why people overanswer a question. Why can't a thread stay simple and people answer just the way the OP asked it? The sniping begins when people stray away from the original intent. G way overanswered and look what started. Nothing major but it did start. Had the question just been answered as is this thread would be going along as the OP intended. My answers: Best show Phantom Regiment Best Corps Phantom Regiment edit for spelling Edited August 21, 2008 by Perry S

mad_scotty
Not trying to start a fight, but I would seriously like to get some input. In 2008, who had the best show and who had the best drum corps (the corps that showed the most talent and challenged the performers at the highest level)? I feel Phantom had the best show and the Cadets had the best corps (yes, I know the narration was lame, but that is not the issue here). Discuss, and please keep it civil! you thought the cadets had the best corps? this was the weakest hornline they have had in years, maybe going back to 91 even. skewerz
best hornline moment...Bluecoats...by far...and away...
DCImonkey
best hornline moment...Bluecoats...by far...and away... Arguably.....but only for that moment! Coats shout chorus = Glassmen's balloons = best part of their respective shows! (that might be a compliment for one and a putdown for another..but i don't care how that reads)
