Kansan Posted August 22, 2008 Share Posted August 22, 2008 (edited) I don't think they are affiliated with a circuit officially yet but High Country Brass of Denver, CO has the best Contra Section I have ever heard or seen. They play like they have lived together all their lives. They are so tight as an ensemble there are no holes to be heard. They also have the best attitude of any group i have seen in a long time. That goes for the entire Corps. If I didn't have my own Corps Started, I would join up with them. Of course I would have to move but it would be worth it. When they start competing, they are to going shock some people. The Crowd is going to lovem. There is a storm acomin and it's name is High Country Brass. On the junior corps circuit, I was initially disappointed with Mandarins tuba line, but by the time they left CA, those 8 kids put out an amazing sound.
